Be prepared to go to hardware store . Bought this part to repair my 2000 Chevy Silverado passenger door window. Did research online, and called local chevy dealer to verify that I was ordering the correct part number for my truck. This part is the OEM replacement part that I was supposed to need. While this part does fit/ work, it does not fit/ work correctly . It is different than the original. It does not have the middle support on the left and right side of the brackets that should be fastened to the door. Because of this, window glass and bracket wobbles and makes noise as you are driving. Also makes a clink sound when you close the door because bracket is not tight to the door like original was. When you go to attach the bottom of the bracket, the set up is totally different. You are gonna need two small washers and nuts to secure to the door. These should absolutely be included with the purchase of this item, however THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED. Poor fit, and incomplete hardware. Will not buy AC Delco again.

it seems to be working fine; however, as others have stated, it does require a trip to the hardware store for the appropriate nuts for some installations. My truck is a 2000; it had numerous bolts that went through the door and into the old regulator. The replacement (for whatever reason) has studs on the lower ends of the window guide rails that need a nut and a lock washer to hold the lower ends in place. Why the design was changed, I do not know, but it would be really helpful to know up front that these are needed and not included. These also do not have as many ‘attachment’ points as the original ones, so I wonder if they are going to flex and not hold up as well over the long-term. Since I have no choice, I really have no problem, but this does seem to be a much cheaper version than what I took out of the truck. It does appear to work well, even though it seems to strain a bit when it gets near the top of the travel when putting the window back up. Otherwise, a very easy and quick install. It took me longer to go to the store and find the correct parts that I needed than it did to do the installation (not counting reinstalling the door panel). I purchased the following parts at a local home improvement store (the one with the orange logo that rhymes with Rome Depot):
1 package of two M6 1.0MM Nylon Insert Zinc Plated lock nuts (SKU#887480036886)
1 package of six M6 lock washers (SKU#887480036183)
Came home, installed the top bolts, pushed the pressed in studs through the hole where the old bolt went, dropped on a washer and screwed down the lock nut tight. installed the bolt holding the motor and transmission in place, and everything seems to be holding fine.

Replaced my regulator on 2007 Chevy Avalanche. Exactly the same as the GM OEM regulator I removed. Same Bosch motor, same cables and window clamps. Some people have complained about needed nuts. This unit came with two bolts installed in the top of the regulator that slot into the door and had two studs pressed into the bottom of the regulator. Took the nuts off the old regulator and installed. No problem at all. Total time to replace was less than 15min.

It’s not factory OEM, but it works great and I was able to install it fairly easily on my father-in-law’s 2001 Silverado 1500 LS. Like a previous reviewer wrote, you will need to purchase some metric nuts and washers to complete the job, but those can be easily and cheaply purchased from any home improvement or hardware store. See questions and answers section for specifics regarding that.

Fit perfect on 2003 gmc sierra and working great so far (only been a few weeks since install). There was a slight difference between this and original. The original had holes for bolts to go through (bolt on from outside). Replacement had threaded studs, so I had to purchase nuts to secure it to the door (no nuts included). Still fit perfect, just had to make a trip to the store.

A note from my husband…
This unit is significantly different than the Original equipment that came with my 2003 Tahoe.
1. It is missing 2 top alignment pins (one on each post) crucial to setting (and keeping) each vertical post in position.
2. It’s missing the 3rd (center) stabilizing bolt hole on the right post
3. It changed the base-bolt-hole/nut on each post into a male bolt without supplying a nut to secure it.
4. No-where is there any # or stamp indicating it is the part that I ordered (ACDelco 20945139 GM) or that it is even an AC Delco part at all. REALLY AMAZON???
5. This is, at best, a, scaled down, less stable, jerry-rigged, spin off of the original part.
6. (BTW) It says Bosch on the motor.
7. Very Disappointed – Not the OE unit – Mickey Mouse
8. By the time I opened up my door to install the unit it was after the 2 weeks return policy – Bummer

This is the second time I have had to replace this window regulator. the first failed after 9 months, Amazon honored the warranty. NOTE! The warranty is offered by Amazon, not GM! I will update should this regulator fail prematurly. It is worth the extra money to buy the higher quality products.
