Produit fait avec des matériaux de bonne qualité ! Il se connecte facilement. Il est très pratique et son beau design sera parfait dans n’importe quel intérieur de véhicule. La connexion avec Carplay est facilitée. Il est livré avec deux câbles d’excellente qualité, l’un en USB C, l’autre en USB A.

We bought a KIA Sorento recently and were disappointed that carplay can only be used “wired”. Ironically, the lower end KIA Sorento models have carplay via bluetooth, yet the higher end models do not! This product solved that problem and once installed, works flawlessly without fuss. It operates as though your iphone is plugged by wire. Follow the instructions and you will be fine:
1. Turn on your car
2. Plug the device into the car’s input USB
3. On your iphone look for this device on bluetooth and pair it (accept pairing code etc.)
4. Wait a couple of seconds and you should see your phone is connected to Apple CarPlay
I was a little confused because once I accepted the pair to the phone’s bluetooth, on the iphone it showed under bluetooth I was disconnected, but yet carplay was working. It’s because after you connect to bluetooth, the device then switches your connection with it to wifi.
After installed, it worked just I expected with a car that came with wireless carplay. Turning the car off and getting in the next time, it picked up right where it left off. I didn’t have to do anything special just like it was wired. I guess this simulates your iphone being connected wired to the car. I love it and this product seems to be high end in feel and quality.
This is the first time using such a device so I cannot compare to cheaper brands, but I certainly was not disappointed with this one. Also it comes with a USB and a USB-C dongle in case you do not want to plug the device directly into the car with the USB stick sticking out. It also comes with an adhesive to mount the device if on a dongle.

Overall, this is a really great wireless CarPlay adapter. Setting it up is quite easy. For me, I plugged it into the USB – A in my Honda Civic. I said OK to the security prompt then paired my iPhone to the Bluetooth on the adapter and I was all set. Only took about a minute
I’ve used a couple wireless CarPlay adapters, and this one so far has worked the best. There is low latency or delay, and I haven’t had any issues where it didn’t connect on starting up the car like I’ve had with other units. It is a little bit bulky than some of the super small adapters, but I hide mine in a little cubby under the console so it’s not a big deal. Funktional bieten viele Modelle das Grundprinzip: Adapter einstecken, iPhone verbinden, CarPlay startet – soweit, so gut.
Worin sich diese Geräte jedoch wirklich unterscheiden, sind Verarbeitung, Konnektivität, Ausstattung und Benutzerfreundlichkeit im Detail. Der Adapter von OMOTON hebt sich in diesen Punkten deutlich positiv ab und verdient daher eine klare Empfehlung.
Der Adapter ist solide gefertigt und verfügt über ein Gehäuse mit Aluminiumrahmen, das nicht nur hochwertig wirkt, sondern auch für eine gute Haptik sorgt. In unserem Fall wird vorrangig das iPhone meiner Frau gekoppelt; ist dieses nicht verfügbar oder verliert die Verbindung, übernimmt mein eigenes iPhone nahtlos – eine praktische Lösung im Alltag. Wichtig: Die Ersteinrichtung erfolgt über Bluetooth, nicht über das WLAN des Adapters.
Die Verbindung ist stabil, die Latenz bei der Bedienung gering, und CarPlay funktioniert absolut reibungslos – sowohl Navigation, Spracheingabe als auch Musikwiedergabe laufen flüssig. Eine gleichzeitige Verbindung mehrerer Geräte ist bauartbedingt nicht möglich, aber die Umschaltung funktioniert zuverlässig.

After using this OMOTON Wireless CarPlay adapter for 3 days, here’re some of my observations. Disclaimer: Some issues are most likely due to the car manufacturer (in my case, Volvo XC90) and/or Apple. This adapter did its job of converting wired Carplay to wireless flawlessly.
1. The manual is not 100% clear on how to setup the adapter. It says to pair with Bluetooth and then wait for CarPlay prompt. But I did not see such prompt on my iPhone. I waited for a minute and nothing happened. I have to disconnect/reconnect the adapter, then finally I saw a CarPlay prompt on my car and not on the iPhone. Pressing ‘Agree’ on the prompt finished the setup process. Suggest OMOTON to update their manual to be more specific.
2. The adapter uses WIFI to connect between an iPhone and itself. So if your iPhone is using a mobile hotspot, then the wireless CarPlay will not work.
3. Your iPhone should automatically connects to the adapter and starts CarPlay when you starts your car. In my case, I have also paired my phone to my car via bluetooth, and every time the car starts up, it asks whether I want to switch from car bluetooth to CarPlay. This is fine with me as I prefer options to not use CarPlay all the time.
4. Once CarPlay is started, there’s no way to turn it off, unless you manually disconnect the WIFI connection between the adapter and your iPhone. I imagine on normal wired CarPlay, all you need to do is disconnect the cable. This is likely not a big deal as people likely do not turn off CarPlay once it’s started.
5. Navigational apps (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze) all worked flawlessly, and minimal to no lag when searching for addresses/active navigating.
Update: After using this for a week, I noticed a couple of issues: 1) There is some audio lags when playing games/instagram scrolling on the phone, 2) My son used my car, he has his phoned paired with my car, but not with the dongle. When I drive my car, Carplay does not automatically starts up. I have to either disconnect/reconnect the dongle to force reconnection. I am not sure if this is the dongle, Apple, or my car’s issue.

I’ve had at least 4 different wireless CarPlay adapters like this and so far I think this one is the best. It connects quickly usually and the sound quality is pretty good. I usually have problems with these adapters disconnecting randomly, but this one disconnects the least often of all the ones I’ve tried. I do occasionally have a problem where it doesn’t want to connect at all when I first get in the car, but usually I can just unplug the adapter and plug it back in and it will connect. With all of the adapters I’ve used, I have a problem with the mic for when I’m responding to a text via Siri. In these cases it for some reason thinks its hearing random words even before I start speaking and tries to (and sometimes does if I’m not fast enough) send the message with just one random word in it. I also like how easy it was to set up and how small the adapter is because several of the adapters that I used in the past were very large and took up a lot of space in my car.
