I have two of these now for different vehicles. It has great long term suction power on the windshield, even when exposed to a wide range of temperature, direct sun, freezing outside, different elevations, etc. Like any suction cup mount, you have to keep them clean and the mounting surface clean, but in reality, I have had to pay less attention to this than to others. I literally have never had one of these release by itself. I am a RAM mount guy with lots of RAM mount devices, so this fit my ecosystem well. No complaints.

Awesome product I mounted in my drove and drove like a banshee in the logging roads and didn’t even budged an inch. As long as the surface is flat its gunna stick and it has ridiculous suction I can open my freezer with it

Excellent build quality, and the perfect fit for other Ram Mounts accessories. I was able to use this with my smart phone and large tablet attached to my windshield. It is lightweight but does not provide any vibration. Excellent value for the money.

I bought this mount, along with an arm and phone holder, because of the reviews and remarks saying just how solid it was. I wanted something secure for my boat and this seemed like the best option. It worked great for me for a short period of time but unfortunately the suction mount was not up to the task. It detached and went overboard and I never was able to recover it. Fortunately my phone was not in the mount at the time. So why did I give it a 4 star review if it failed me? Because of the company’s excellent customer service. I contacted them and explained what had happened. They apologized and offer to replace all three items at no cost to me. Since they do have a mount base that is screw mounted instead of suction mounted, I ordered a screw mounted base for my boat and will use the suction base in my truck. So thank you to Ram Mounts for being a company that stands behind their products.

I cheaped out on a few phone holders and finally had enough with flimsy junk. Got this RAM suction mount and paired it with some other bits and wayyyyy better. Solid, doesn’t come randomly unstuck, easy to use. Save the hassle, buy the real deal RAM product from the start.

I use this to hold my phone on my boat. It has not come off even in rough water. I use it with the x grip and works great. I used it on glass and gelcoat just fine.

After playing around with different RAM products to mount my phone for GPS (and not keep it in my lap while driving), I found this mount. With a long arm and phone holding attachment, all from RAM, it finally worked. I tried the mount that sticks to the vinyl dash but that torqued itself off and left a mark. I tried the claw grip mounted to my mirror but that made the mirror vibrate. This finally worked and worked well.
One minor problem I’ve had is that in time, in the summer sun and heat it will slooooowly slide down the glass and eventually came off. But it’s easy enough to put back and leaves no permanent marks on the glass or anything. Well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this with intentions of putting it on my dash in my rzr turbo s. It didn’t stick to the dash, but it sticks to the roof. So i mounted this to the roof and went testing at the coast. Bowl turns, s turns whoops, jumps, rainbows and not one issue.
