I have used this microfiber wash pad several times to wash my SUV and it has done an excellent job compared to a sponge in terms of removing dirt and bugs. It doesn’t nearly take the amount of effort needed to wash with a sponge, I don’t have to worry about scratching my car as easily, and it holds just as much soapy water. When I am done washing my car, I just throw it in the wash machine along with my other detailing rags and forget about it. I would recommend washing it before using for the first time to get rid of all the lint so it doesn’t end up all over your car.

I bought several of them and have used them twice thus far to wash the car. they do not shed, they do bleed a small amount of yellow color into the bucket of water I used to wash the car. I did pre-wash all sponges in the washing machine using Woolite detergent and placed in dryer on low heat without any dryer sheets. Other brand washing detergents and dryer sheets can coat the washed item with chemicals which cause the material to be less absorbent Very soft material covering on the sponge. Easy to use and doesn’t cause any drag when swiping sponge across the car. there are no edges/rough spots to worry about any component scratching the car. I would buy these again and highly recommend them.

I love everything about these. I had two or three and just bought 3 more. I started filling a bucket with soapy water and one for rinse. Except I use 6-8 clean sponges in the clean bucket and wash the entire car with them. 1 for each panel then rinse them all at the end. Keeps things moving along faster and less chance of taking some dirt back to the car. They all have held up well for me and I’ve had them for a while. Hold enough suds and feel have enough microfiber that you will not scratch your car easily. For the price I think they work great.

I actually bought 2 of these. First one was about 3 years ago here on Amazon and recently picked up another one just because it works so well on my daily driver. The original one is still like new as well.
The reason I like it is it’s easy to handle and perfect size, holds much car wash, Cleans extremely well, AND the most important to me with this style, is it picks up the paint contamination and then releases it like nobody’s business. How I release the dirt is after cleaning a very dirty panel I just hold it in the air and hose all the dirt off of it. Works wonderfully for my technique. The water in my bucket after washing a filthy car is just about as clean as when I started, due to it releases all the dirt and contamination when I hose it off before I dunk it back into the bucket to get more sudsy wash soap to do another section.
I also do not like mitts so this design, sized pad with the fingers as I call them, other call them nubs to release all the dirt works well.
On my summer sports car I use the Microfiber Madness Incredipad but that is a $25.00 plus wash pad. For a real dirty car you just can’t beat the carrand wash pad nob design however.

It is really getting hard to find a sponge these days that doesn’t have the scratchy side thing or is like a mitten. Who wants to stick their hand in a mitten to wash the truck.
This sponge works great to get in the little bodylines and door jambs and it’s soft texture is nice on the paint. I has lasted much better than some of the others i have tried. The only reason I only rated 4 stars is I really prefer this same type of sponge but with the cotton wiggly fingers. I haven’t been able to find a cotton one for a few years.
I wash a crew cab dually by hand every weekend, so I know my way around a wash bucket pretty well. I will be buying another one of these.

The good: It was relatively cheap. Holds a lot of liquid. Feels like you are pampering your car and paint when washing with this soft pad.
What could be better: Should be a little larger – say another 2 inches wider on both dimensions (width and length). The thickness of the whole wash pad is fine. Grease and exhaust tip dirt seem to cling to the microfiber fingers more so than other similar wash pads.
